Hanging vaseBhas Mhr These vases are designed and handturned during my artist in residence in Scotland. They represent night and day in winter time. The black vase is inspired by the utter darkness of Scottish nights and the natural vase shows its locally sourced wood during daylight quiet, plain and pure. I call them Bhas Mhr Scottish Gaelic for tall vase. Amphorae were used for wine and oil and they stood in soft ground on their pointed bottoms. The hanging
