This single malt is aged for 16 months in shochu filled ex bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength, recently winning 2020 WWA "Best Japanese New Make". Kanosuke won "Best Japanese Craft Distillery of the Year" and "Best Newcomer" from Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition in 2019.
