1983 Yamaha Japan SG-510 Double Cutaway (Dark Blue)Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG 510 was released for the 1983 catalog and wears the incredibly rare "Dark Blue" finish that was made in very limited numbers. Weighing 3. 8kg's, it's built with an agathis body, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). Good used condition as pictured for

an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing

but each with their own flavor

maple bolt on neck with a 24 fret unbound rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length)

32" scale length with 21 frets (42mm nut width)

The action is a little high and could use a neck shim to correct the angle

Kramer Joker style body with a maple neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard

it's been well used and well looked after throughout it's life

The neck was sanded back to a satin smooth finish that's far more comfortable than the removed glossy clear coat

Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups

Full Martin aesthetic including the neck volute and headstock shape

yet gives you range of control to have modern features like expression pedal control for the number of repeats

the frets have light wear but have plenty of life left and the neck is straight
