the Research Jacket has an oversized

box pleats at the front and is made from a naturally dyed organic cotton

we use a naming system for colours that was started by one of our natural dyehouses to keep track of experiments

The jumper is finished with hand crochet appliqué leaves and flowers forming peace signs across the front

Other details include hand knit ribbed cuffs and hem and large front flap patch pockets

while the natural indigo strain we use very slowly dulls so you end up with a fabric that goes from a ‘blurple’ to an almost purpley-elephant-grey-blue
