Berg Performance VR6 Main StudsBerg Performance VR6 Main Studs The Berg Performance VR6 main studs have a tensile strength of 1530NM mm2 (220,000psi). We recommend these head studs for applications making 500hp or more. They improve bearing lane stiffness and prevent main bearing as well as crankshaft damage on high horsepower boosted applications. These head studs are also reusable and do not need to be replaced like the original stretch bolts if they are removed. The threads are
