Vintage Orange Military Dress Cap Hat, Possibly West PointHere is a great vintage military cadet dress hat, possibly from a military academy such as West Point. It features orange and black coloring and a 4" black shako rising from the front. It bears a tin eagle emblem as well as two tin harp emblems on either side. It has a leather strap and orange drawstring. The cap is in good condition, though there is some cracking in the leatherette visor, which you can see in the photographs. Also, the eagle emblem

This would be an excellent item for the collector of World War 2 Navy artifacts

but shows its age

The leather strap on the top of the camera is miraculously still intact
