EF Payne Bamboo Fly Rod 8'6" 3/2 #6/7An E. F. Payne bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 3 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #6 or #7 line. 5. 3 ounces. Full length and in moderately used original condition. There are some casting cracks at the ferrule wraps and some minor scratches and scuffing to the varnish. The ferrules seat fully and the rod is straight. Flamed, oven tempered chestnut color cane. The main wraps are brown with black edges and extra bands of yellow and purple at the keeper and male

For sale here is a Peerless 7M raised pillar fly reel in near mint condition with only the slightest of marks on the reel foot from being mounted on a rod

the reel is still very tight mechanically and the drag remains very strong

The rod comes with a nice replacement Hardy rod bag with ties and a generic replacement rod tube

The wraps have been replaced at the ferrules and the bottom guide on the tip
