ExampleA grouping of three metal block planes, comprising a Stanley No. 220 cast into the body, a second Stanley block plane with patent date 2 18 13, and an unbranded example marked "Made in U. S. A." with original blue green paint remaining on the body. The Stanley No. 220 is missing its front knob. All three planes show surface rust, wear, and soiling consistent with use and age.
