Mario Wojnicki F251 Fly Rod 8'3" 2/2 #4A Mario Wojnicki Model 251F4 fly rod, 8'3" (251 cm to be precise), 2 piece, 2 tips, built for a #4 line. "M. Wojnicki" inked on the butt section as well as "251F4 #8216". Pleasing medium fast full flexing action. The rod is straight and the ferrule fits are good. Mint condition. Mottled light and dark flamed cane and the rod is done in a two opposed node construction. Nice varnish throughout. Very light apricot almost translucent colored wraps with
3 being of flies
Sam was an ace machinist and spent some of his time away from rod making as a Tool and Die maker
