Saracione 3" Deluxe Fly ReelAn excellent Saracione Deluxe 3" reel. Perfect working order, with original leather box marked "Saracione Deluxe" and "Made in U. S. A". This appears to be an early version of Joe' well regarded deluxe line of reels, which are now retailing at nearly $2,500. Normal scratching and scuffing from use. This reel has visited the Brule river often, and now it's ready for many years of service on your favorite river. Great value and first rate craftsmanship.

this rod is straight and true as the day it left the shop
and the reel seat is set up with a downlocking screw lock over a walnut spacer
and sections are nice and straight
The buttcap has a conical shape with "G Lacey

The reel seat has the late model Leonard cap-and-ring hardware with the "H
Nicely varnished but has some fishing related scuffs in the varnish here and there
