Heddon Model #60 Deluxe 9 1/2' Bamboo RodFor sale here is a scarce Model DeLuxe # 60 9 1 2 feet 3 2 for a 7 weight line. Very good condition. All sections are full length and straight. Made circa 1930s 40s. The rod weighs 6 3 8 oz. Line weight 6 7. Blued nickel silver ferrules size 19 64 and 12 64 (made before the "F" sizing vernacular). Brown thread wraps with dark brown edges. Remington Arms Company hand checkered Circassian walnut grip and reel seat insert with up locking blued nickel

TORAFU is a variety of HACHIKU

The varnish shows a bit of prior softening at some point and there are some small chips in the varnish

The adjustable drag is very strong and will stop the biggest salmon and steelhead

The rod was made as a one-tip rod as were most of the prototype rods

Cosmetically there are a few scratches and a slight amount of rock rash

All sections are full length with no apparent repairs

and made in 1951

This can likely be repaired by a competent rodmaker
