HL Leonard Model 50-4 Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #4A nice H. L. Leonard 50 4 bamboo fly rod, 8', 3 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #4 line. 4 oz. Definitely not a D. F. rod, much more of a semi full flexing action. The varnish and wraps are in good condition. A tiny bit of cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. The Perfection style stripper would date it to the 1950s. There is some grooving to one side of the snake guide (from a silk line) yet the ferrule fits are tight and the rod is straight.

This version is set up for direct drive but comes with a conversion kit to change it to anti-reverse
