Walt Powell Hexagraph Fly Rod 9'6" 3/2 #7/8/9/10A Walton Powell Hexagraph graphite fly rod, 9'6", 3 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #7 up to a #10 line. Serial #30062. 5. 1 ounces. 6 sided graphite construction. Medium fast action. New unused. Very dark green blank with dark emerald green wraps. The stripper is synthetic and the snakes and tip tops are chrome plated. The Super Z style ferrules are polished bright. The grip is 7" long including the un hidden pocket cap for the uplocking screw lock.

The reel and one spool have backing loaded on them but appear to be very little used if at all

Bearings - The bearings are oil-impregnated bronze which hold lubricant long after other materials have "run dry" and are hard enough to provide a lifetime of wear and remain true and smooth

The only other thing worth noting is that the spindle protrudes slightly further out from the flange on the crankside plate than with other Restigouches I've seen

The ivorine handle is in excellent free-spinning condition

The owner had Gary make him a new tip for this rod in the 1980's
