Hardy Perfect 2 7/8" Fly Reel 1930sFor sale here is a Hardy Perfect 2 7 8" trout fly reel from the 1930s with full length ribbed brass foot, ebonite handle and rim tensioner. Duplicated MKII check. A very nice reel mechanically and cosmetically. No cracks, chips, or dings.
The Garrison-style grip measures 6" in length
The agate line guide has one slight hairline crack
It appears to be in unused condition
Payne-style grip 5 7/8" in length with only the lightest of soiling
It measures 7
Black tipping at the winding check
This one was dubbed the "Springer Special" back in the early 2000s
