Hardy Silex Major 4" Hiduminium ReelFor sale here is a scarce 4" Hardy Silex Major reel in excellent ++ collector condition. Stamped with "PW" (maker) and "H" (Hiduminium). No cracks, chips, line grooves or repairs. Unaltered full length ribbed alloy foot. Free spinning spool and handles. No spool wobble or end play. A very nice example.

Blued hardware with bright aluminum down-locking reel seat
Original smooth brass reel foot has been neatly filed about 1/4" at one end
Classic and simple bright nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a beautiful mortised wood spacer
The rod weighs 18 3/8 oz
