Orvis Battenkill 7'6 5wt 3 7/8 oz. bamboo rodFor sale here is a 7'6 impregnated Orvis Battenkill bamboo rod. 3 7 8 oz. Two sections with two tips. Rated for a 6 wt but throws a 5 best. Medium action. Serial number 74283 made in 1974. Green bag, grey aluminum tube, engraved hexagonal cap, green and silver foil label in near perfect condition as well. The rod is in mint condition. The ferrules are 12 64 and the ferrule fit is tight and excellent. All sections are full length and straight.
The grip features a rarely seen thumb and palm indentation
Can be easily switched from RHW (currently) to LHW

There were 152 of the 861711 model rods built and 14 known to exist as of the time the Dickerson book was published
The rod has been fished very slightly but is still in excellent shape
