RL Winston Fiberglass Fly Rod 8'6" 2/1 #4A very nice RL Winston fiberglass rod, 8'6", 2 piece, 1 tip and built for a #4 line. This is a San Francisco era model made before the move to Twin Bridges in 1977. No serial number. Medium slow full flexing action. The rod appears to be unfished and still has the Winston paper hang tag and small pouch containing a bit of ferrule wax both tied to the keeper. Sanded burgundy blank with a spigot ferrule, and the rod sports the Winston San Francisco

the Golden Wests have nickel silver parts and a hard rubber handle as well
