The rod weighs 3 1 4 oz. with cap and ring reel seat over a Spanish cedar spacer. 7 1 2' 2 2, best with a DT4. The reel seat bears the Payne trademark stamp as well as the Sold by Abercrombie and Fitch stamp. Red agate stripping guide. The Model 100 is one of Paynes most popular tapers, with a more medium action as compared to the slightly heavier Model 101 which was a faster action
