Schukra - Collapsable GaffFor sale here is a very interesting item, a vintage collapsible gaff made by the German company Schruka. The gaff is in like new condition and appears to have never been used. Comes in the original vinyl pouch measuring a modest 4"x6". The gaff would make for a great conversation display piece.
The rod comes with a yellow cloth bag
The grip shows normal soiling from use
A superb Paul Hermann salmon reel 3 1/4" diameter
The ferrule fits are good and the rod is straight
the material wears evenly
Cigar style grip with varnished burl cork nose
Handsome slightly swelled butt
This rod has a half wells grip
the rights of the Micmac Natives and their netting at the mouth of the river
I have taken some poetic license with the design in two ways: first
A lovely varnished rod with nice medium action and fine tips
One of these has caused a crack line to show in the varnish so there may be some movement in that facet
