Lot 005 - Antique Reverse-Painted Eagle Mantel Clock with Time and Strike, Ansonia Clock Company, New York, 16-1/4" HThis is an antique mantel clock featuring a glass door with reverse painted eagle decoration. The wooden case has been repainted. The door opens to reveal the clock dial with Roman numerals, movement, and pendulum. The reverse painted glass features American flag shields in the upper corners and a spread winged eagle with banner and foliage below the dial area. The lower portion has a circular viewing window for the pendulum. The clock movement
