lengthy and impeccably well-balanced finish save for a trace of warmth
and great richness
an aroma of pen ink
and cassis scents that seem so easy to obtain with this varietal in California
It is seriously endowed
Lovely quality and overall this is a fine Nuits villages
spice and floral elements
spice and a whiff of lavender
The tannins are fine and nicely integrated to give the wine power
While certainly a quality '76 I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of excellent depth and length
