Lot 027 - Antique Folk Art Carved Wood Seated Cat Figure, Losses to Ear Tips, 27-1/2" HAn antique folk art figure of a seated cat carved from a single piece of wood, depicted in an upright frontal pose with the head tilted slightly upward. The form is rendered with large upright ears, deeply carved almond shaped eyes, a broad muzzle, and a compact body with front legs extended to a rectangular integral base. The wood shows exposed grain throughout with a gray brown surface patina. Both ear tips show losses with exposed raw wood at the

It is quite clean but does show some signs of use and wear
