Old Florida 8SA ReelAn Old Florida #8SA fly reel, 4 1 2" diameter and set up for RHW. Near mint condition, with just a few tiny traces of cosmetic wear. Silver anodized throughout, with a super arbor design and porting on the frame and spool. The real weighs 10. 6 ounces on my scale. Old Florida made reels until the early 2000s, when they were bought out by the company that would become Nautilus. The reel has an adjustable cork drag, with a click on the incoming retrieve

One tip has a faint pencil mark circling around teh top between the first guide and the tip top

The Classic features a dependable click and pawl tension system which is manipulated via a five position drag adjuster on the faceplate

The grip is 5 1/2" and shaped to a slightly tapered cylinder at the front with a composite cork at the very front

The clicker is still very strong as well and the on/off button works as intended

especially as a set

With a little attention this rod could be a serviceable fisher
