The center depicts a young woman with dark upswept hair wearing a sheer garment with a red drape, signed "A. Beck" at the right. The wide border features an elaborate gilt arabesque and foliate pattern against a dark ground. The verso is marked with the blue "Vienna Art Plates, Pat. Feb. 21st 1905" cartouche.
