Bogdan Large Trout ReelA very nice Bogdan Large Trout reel, set up for RHW. 3 1 4" in diameter with a 31 32" spool width. 5. 3 ounces in weight and with capacity to hold lines up to a #7 with 50 yards of 20# backing. Mint condition, I could find no mounting marks or other signs that the reel has been fished. Click and pawl fixed drag with a nice firm click. Silver frame and spool, with a silver anodized foot, handle, oil port cover, and Bogdan nameplate. Black anodized

The tube was mailed at some point and bears a shipping label with the address "Edwin W Houston

Stamped inside on the frame

a $5 charge was imposed and by 1936

Used with normal cosmetic wear but perfect mechanically

and has the model and size stamp along with serial number H258 (made in 1915)

The reel retains much of its original finish and mechanically it's a 9 out of 10

Comes with original green Hardy bag with a dedicated sleeve for the detachable grip as well as a pouch for the ferrule plug

All sections are arrow straight

A hard bound copy with beveled boards and most likely a presentation copy for one of their better clients

and a mayfly above the Godfrey nameplate

The die stamp on the butt cap reads "Leonard Rod
