Peerless #2 Reel

Peerless #2 ReelA nice Peerless model 2 fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for LHW. Mint condition, I could find no sign that the reel has been fished. Clear anodized frame and spool with black anodized sideplates. Classic S handle design. The spool and sideplate on the cranking side are ventilated. The reel weighs 5 ounces on my scale. Designed for a #5 or #6 line with approximately 60 yards of backing. The reel packs into its original reel pouch with the Peerless

Currently set up for right hand retrieve but can be switched to left for a small fee

For sale here is a spare spool for the Orvis CFO III Limited Edition fly reel from 1977 and 1978

He stated this is one of his most favorite rods from his days at Winston and also one of the greatest rod models Winston ever made

Comes loaded with a WF6 sink-tip and backing

All sections are straight with the exception of a slight set in the mid section

Nickel plated finish is in really nice condition
