Lot 024 - Antique Patriotic Cobalt Glass and Brass Buckle Set with Eagle and American Flag Decoration, on Later Red Grosgrain RibbonAn antique two piece buckle or clasp set, each piece comprising a domed cobalt blue glass cabochon set in a brass bezel, decorated with a reverse painted or printed image of a spread winged American eagle clutching an American flag against a cobalt ground. The two pieces clip together via an integrated brass clasp mechanism. The buckle set is mounted on a red grosgrain ribbon, which appears later than the hardware. The glass surfaces show fine
