The Salmon Fly Centenary Edition by George M. KelsonThis mint 1995 edition of Kelson's classic book on salmon flies is one of 750 copies put out on the 100th anniversary of the first edition by the Flyfisher's Classic Library. The book features black leather and gilt decoration, with the frontis a picture of Kelson (1835 1920), a famed early salmon angler. The copy includes color photos and descriptions of many fly patterns. Comes in a black slipcase. Nice copy for any library.

The original St George reels were produced in Alnwick from 1911 until 1983

Wraps are a light amber with brown edges and dark brown at ferrules

This rod is as straight as the day it left the factory

An excellent Aroner Hunt Pattern that was completed in the mid-to-late 1980's and which is mint and unfished

but not much - there is a little discoloring to the grip and a little brassing to inner guides - but otherwise in excellent condition
