Tablets, Syrocowood And Barwood By Boynton & Co.Pair of vintage composite wood crucifixes, each featuring a raised corpus of Christ and an I. N. R. I. tablet. The larger crucifix is SyrocoWood brand, manufactured in Syracuse, New York, with a Gothic style open trefoil and quatrefoil framework surrounding the cross body, foliate accents at the terminals, and a gold toned corpus against a dark brown cross shaft; it shows surface wear, paint loss, and light scratching on the shaft (8 3 4" x 13 1 8").
