In march of 2020 at the beginning of what we would come to learn as a year of isolation and worry

with a bit of  Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemühle copperplate paper

This hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel carbon black and warm sepia ink

like most of the trees I see

and sepia inks

I want the watch to start moving and the waiting to end

She talked about the vastness of the outdoors and our relationship and relative size

These ideas resonated with me and helped me identify a feeling I have had but never articulated

I have never been in a position to visit them

I have been enjoying going back to the archive and selecting my favorite work to apply printmaking methods and looking at the work in a new medium
