Orvis CFO V Fly Reel - ScrewbackFor sale here is an early 1970's Orvis CFO V Screwback fly reel. Made in England by Hardy Bros. The reel remains in excellent+ condition showing very little wear though there is a small ding on the spool rim that also chipped the paint. Mechanically the reel is perfect. The reel features a quick change spool and is compatible with all later made CFO V's. Right or left hand retrieve. Includes an aftermarket zippered faux leather case. The reel comes

The grip is 5 1/2" long in a blunt cigar where the fattest part is 3/4 of the way to the front
and clips are all in fine working order
the material wears evenly
Overall this is a nice example of Payne's salmon models
A great reel for anyone who loves classic styling and solid performance
