Peerless No 6 Fly ReelAn excellent Peerless #6 fly reel, 3 1 2" diameter, 2" wide, and set up for RHW. This reel has a nice large capacity and large drag. This model was one of Peerless' largest, suitable for two handed or large single hand rods. I could find zero sign of any use except for the fact it is loaded with a line and backing. No nicks scuffs or scratches of any sort. If I were to hazard a guess the line might be a #9. Original peerless pouch. A nice option here
5 1/2" cigar grip with some hand soiling
One tip-top has been replaced with a very good match
The reel seat is set off from the grip with a nickel silver rear cork check
as new condition
The Special model is wrapped with olive main wraps
