RL Winston Vintage Reel 5/6

RL Winston Vintage Reel 5/6An RL Winston Vintage 5 6 Limited Edition fly reel with a spare spool, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for LHW. This was part of a series made in the early 1990s by Siskiyou Design in Oregon USA. Excellent lightly used condition, with just a few tiny cosmetic traces of use (the counterbalance has some loss to the finish courtesy of the foam these came in pretty typical with these models). The reel couldn't have been fished much though, nor the spare spool.

A polished aluminum up-locking screw lock finishes the seat

The reel and spools appear unfished

Type III black anodized throughout

German silver faceplate construction as well as the winding arm

The Garrison-style grip measures 6" in length with moderate soiling

The consignor purchased the rod as a one-tip rod from Len Codella in 2001

It doesn't get much better
