We made a historic replica of the original fabric and then modified it with the name and address of the Bode Tailor Shop. They are cut along a traditional trouser silhouettehigh rise, straight leg. They are cut in a classic pajama pant silhouette with added rickrack appliqué trim

The silhouette is that of a traditional trouser — high rise

It features a faithful reproduction of the historical quilt with a red center patch which traditionally  symbolized the home's hearth

It features oversized buttons and a rope belt

The reproduction of a floral ribbon trim is appliqué on a sheer mesh shirt

This short sleeve shirt is inspired by a domestic quilt

These trousers are inspired by men's suiting from the 1950s-1960s

The original fabric was likely intended for domestic use and was made in a style reminiscent of traditional Japanese embroidery which is faithfully reproduced here
