Lot 216 - Vintage State Of Kansas Yacht Flag With State Seal, Sunflower Crest, And "Ad Astra Per Aspera" Motto, 18" x 11-1/4"Vintage State of Kansas flag with a dark blue field and a printed central roundel of an illustration of the state seal. The seal depicts a landscape scene with a farmer plowing behind a horse, bison on a prairie, covered wagons, a cabin, a steamboat, hills, and a rising sun, surrounded by a rope border and the motto "Ad Astra Per Aspera." A sunflower crest appears above the seal, and "Kansas" is printed in gold below. The hoist edge has a canvas

The cast iron shows a lovely antique patina and is free from cracks or breaks

which gives them a soft

but would also be a good candidate for refinishing

each bearing a red paper label reading “Formaldehyde

and additional portraits of men

They are mounted on a stained wood board with a wire hanger on the back for hanging on the wall
