As a commissioned portrait photographer I would make children's portraits from the back much to the parents dismay. Later they often collected these portraits after viewing the proofs. I feel there is something very interesting about photographing someone from the back, I think partly because it is the part they can not easily see but the rest of us see much of the time. I have been enjoying going back to the archive and selecting my favorite work to apply printmaking methods and looking at the work in a new medium

For me photographing people is a collaboration
