18th century book plate of a lionWe have managed to get 4 late 18th early 19th century book plates and this one is of a Lion. Great quality plate with no major faults and a great look. Framed recently in a blue frame and mount. We can change this if you like. Unfortunately not sure what original book this came from but its hugely decorative either on its own or as part of a collection. Height 32cm Width 40cm

Inspired as the name suggests by the classic rustic farmhouse tables we endeavour to find in France

It did once have a plate rack and where it once stool is slightly visible from the top but takes nothing away from the piece

Seat pads are good but would benefit from re upholstery which we can of course do for you

In nice original condition with patina and wear that adds so much to it

Attractive subtle colours and with the right shade would make a great feature in a room
