Wilted Roses - photogravure print - The Weekly EditionWilted Roses I have family and friends who throw shade on me because I prefer my flowers, mostly roses to be dead. The wilting process speaks of time passing, and impermanence. I find those thoughts are important to me. Hand pulled photogravure print is made with Gamblin bone black, Charbonnel warm sepia and geranium red inks on Hahnemhle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints and 2 A P prints. This city park runs along the Vltava River

The swirling shape of the grass and the lines created by the animals living here made for such a moment for me on this day
