Farlow Patent Lever ReelFor sale here is a 4 1 4" Farlow's Patent Lever, No. 380, plate wind reel. Spool width 2 1 8". Foot untouched ~ 3 7 16" long. Handle perfect and free turning. Check adjuster works fine. Superb sounding reel. This reel will ship from our UK office where Vintage Fly Tackle is now set up to accept consignments from the EU community.
Paul Young made the blanks and sold them along with the appropriate hardware and thread to Don West in 1950
The spool and frame were hand honed from a single block of aluminum
