Our dreams and realities

my desire is to evoke the feeling of fulfillment that one experiences when standing near a wooded area

I was overflowing with thoughts and ideas that I communicated with colour blocked sections and a coordinated flow

Did you know that hummingbirds can travel more than 500 miles in a single trip and they can eat more than twice their body weight in insects and nectar in a day

of a moment in time when I was fully feeling authentically me

the pale blue sky stretching out as if endless and you can almost hear the cicadas and the grasshoppers humming nearby

The painting has four layers of oil paintings which I applied one on top of another

a wound or a broken heart

Hues of bronze and copper

and gentle creams—that evoke a quiet

This is probably why I gravitate towards always wanting to paint flowers and always finding an excuse to mix up some form of pink in most of my floral paintings
