Serial #8073, dating to early 1980 during the Maxwell period. The rod weighs 4. 4 ounces. Moderate use with light grip soiling, some brassing to the inner guides and casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. Medium to fast action. The cane is flamed with small pressed nodes done in a three up configuration. The main wraps are plum with purple and red edges at

the latter of which gives it a slower-than-usual parabolic action
