Thomas & Thomas Caenis Bamboo Fly Rod 7’6” 2/2 #3A nice Thomas and Thomas Caenis bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #3 line. Serial #5015. Marked as 2 7 8 ounces but the rod weighs closer to 3. 7 on my scale. Pleasing medium action. Excellent used condition with normal cosmetic wear throughout. There are a few small scratches to the varnish just where the rod is inked on the butt and then up the rod about 3" down from the stripper there is a spot where one edge was scraped, but

T&T swiss ferrules are oxidized

The spacer has a shallow scratch directly where the top of the reel foot sits

For sale here is a fine bamboo rod made by Leonard Mazur -- 7' 2/2 for a 4 or 5 weight line

but easily convertible

as they are exceedingly rare
