Lot 020 - Antique Chinese Wooden Balance Opium Scale with Character-Marked Counterweight Paddle, 15-1/4" LChinese balance scale of traditional steelyard design, constructed with a wooden beam and brass fittings. The scale features a carved wooden counterweight paddle at one end bearing Chinese characters, and a wooden paddle with brass weighing disc at the opposite end.
