RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 7' 3/2 #3A nice RL Winston bamboo fly rod, 7', 3 piece, 2 tip, built for a #3 line. Serial number 3687, a Brackett era rod. Listed on the rod shaft as 2 3 4 ounces but my scale has it closer to 3. 7. Mint condition. Medium full flexing action. The bamboo is oven tempered to a golden wheat straw color and is done in a three up node pattern. The varnish is stupendous, as good as the best of any I have seen. The wraps are tan with cinnamon edges at the keeper,
