Unknowing | photogravure print - The Weekly EditionI worked on this edition of prints during the holidays, a time when I am often reflecting. It is an older negative of mine that I have never printed as a photogravure print. It represents a feeling of longing for the unknown. Hand pulled photogravure print is made with Cranfield sepia, mid black and Carbonnel burnt umber inks on Fabriano Rosaspina. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints. Hand pulled print by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 6 5"x 7"

and Bistre inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper

it felt like pure serendipity

A well know Boucherie I came across in Strasbourg while exploring the streets

I have found myself in a handful of studio spaces over the years

I have been going through my flat files and finding platinum prints from this period

and Mid Black inks on  Copperplate paper

and still do

I wonder how many people have walked the path to the chapel door

Signed numbered and titled by the artist on the lower front
