R.L. Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #4R. L. Winston 7' 2pc 2 tip #4 25 8 oz. ser #2205. Very light in the hand and a sweet action to boot. Beautiful varnish job, just flawless. Apricot color wraps with dark maroon edges at the keeper and ferrules. Western style grip. All cork seat with slide band and a beautifully formed pocket cap add to the lightness. Bright red bag. Black anodized tube with brass top.

This handsome raised pillar Leonard Grilse reel is in very good condition and a superb descendant of the style popularized by the famous Philbrook model years earlier

produced in the late 1980's and made for Orvis in England

and made two false casts before shooting the entire thing all the way to the backing
