Bogdan Model 0 ReelA Bogdan model 0 salmon reel, set up for LHW. 3 1 4" diameter with a 1 3 8" spool width. Capacity for holding a #9 line with 150 yards of backing. This was the singlehanded workhorse model in the Bogdan catalog. Near mint condition with just one faint mark on the frame edge and some tiny mounting marks on the foot being the only sign of use (there is also a residual circular patch of fading on one sideplate from where a line sticker must have been

The rod weighs 4 1/4 oz

Strength in the abstract realism creates a shaggy wet coat on the bear

I believe this reel to have been made in 1959 due to the stamping "Made in Akron O USA" by the foot

The grip is 7 1/2" long and turned to a Western style with a hidden pocket cap
