Saracione Monarch M40 AR Fly Reel

Saracione Monarch M40 AR Fly ReelA nice early Saracione Monarch M40 anti reverse fly reel, 4" in diameter and set up for LHW. Backing has been loaded on the reel but I could find no sign that it has been fished even the foot shows no signs of having been put on a rod. "Ser. No. 0294" stamped on the side of the foot. Full range drag adjustment knob that tightens up the cork drag. Brushed aluminum frame. Saltwater resistant. The reel weighs 16 ounces on my scale with the backing.
