Bellinger Spey Reel 4"A rare Bellinger Spey Reel, 4" in diameter and set up for LHW. I've come across very few of this model. 1 3 8" spool width, and weighs13. 3 ounces on my scale, with the backing loaded on it. Traditional S handle design with delrin sideplates, aluminum spool, stainless pillars, and german silver oil cap, handle cap & screw, and counterbalance. The reel has a strong non adjustable click (which I'm told is convertible from LHW to RHW). Near mint
There is also a small hole caused by lesser quality cork
All silver model that is clear anodized throughout
Perfect mechanically and otherwise clean throughout
exactly as does a single-action reel
The rod is in excellent+ and original condition
Capacity is WF4 + 25yds
A nice HL Leonard Duracane fly rod
The crack is shown in the photos and is evident on both sides of the rim

The slide ring is oxidized jet black and is engraved "Tenth Anniversary" and the butt cap as the logo "Thomas and Thomas
5 1/2" long cigar grip has been cleaned leaving it somewhat rough
Wrapped in May Rose silk with orange edges
