This hand-pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Gamblin stiff Portland black and sepia ink

I was teaching a wet plate workshop in 2010 and had come to the studio with this vase of fresh tulips to use as a prop

Pointed my 8x10 camera down to the kitchen floor and had time to make one negative before daddy was needed

Somehow the process takes my mind back in time and my photograph goes along for the ride

On this day she arrived with her hair down

but still I dream of what it was like

I decided on an edition of 8 numbered prints and 2 A/P prints

I made this photograph in my backyard studio and printed it on the same day

I love the process of photography

and an edition of 12 numbered prints and 1 A/P print
